Dear CBF students and parents:
We are so glad you have checked in to see what your weekly verses are. We pray that you have fun learning them together and can't wait to hear you recite them when we see you on Sunday mornings! Blessings on your bible study and memorization. We are glad you are hiding God's word in your hearts!
March 21st: Today, many of the CBF'ers will be participating in Pioneer Club Sunday. Be sure they have their PC materials as they'll be with their club for the first part of our service. We'll be holding CBF at our usual time as well! We'll be continuing our Roman Study with a peek back in the Old Testament by learning about Hannah and memorizing the verse: "...for the foundations of the earth are the Lords's: upon them He has set the world." 1 Samuel 2: 8
March 14th: The children enjoyed two hands-on projects for their Romans study; clay work and a bible verse scavenger hunt!
Mar. 7th: We chose this week, to pause, reflect and review key concepts, verses and truths from our Roman Study. The CBF'ers have remembered quite a bit since January. What a joy to see concepts both remembered and in some cases, reinforced.
Feb. 28th: "For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done awa with that we should no longer be slaves to sin-because anyone who has died has been freed from sin." Rom. 6: 6-7
Feb. 21st: Last week, your children brought home buried tulip bulbs... to remind them of how we are "buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead thorough the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Their memory verse is: "If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection." Rom. 6:5
Feb. 7th: (Special card making time today for the Nursing Home ministry)
This is the verse for our Valentine card making time:
"By this all men will know that you are my disiples, if you love one another." John 13:35
Be sure to ask your child about the cards they made. They will be delivered at the Monday night ministry.
January 24th-Feb. 7th
